Chitwan Muktinath Manakamana tour offers a glimpse of one of the world's most exciting wildlife reserves, located 75 miles southwest of Kathmandu (165 kilometers) and one the way will be Manakamana, Muktinath will be north side of Pokhara valley. Chitwan is now one of the finest protected forests & dense grassland regions in Asia and the home of magnificent and rare wildlife. Among the 14 national parks and wildlife reserves in the Kingdom of Nepal, The Chitwan National Park (932 sq. km) is the most popular Nepal Jungle safari destination. More than 43 species of animals are still found in Chitwan. The endangered one-horned rhino, Royal Bengal tiger, Gharia crocodiles, four-horned antelope, striped hyena, and the genetic dolphin are the main attractions here.
The park is much closed to Kathmandu, which is easily accessible (only 165km) by bus and air. Bhagalpur airport adjoins the park is a 25 minutes away (there are daily flights from Kathmandu). Many adventures also intent to go down by raft. However, you go, a jungle safari is an experience you will remember for a long time.
Manakamana Devi temple
Manakamana, literally meaning ‘the wish - fulfilling Goddess’ is one of the most revered Hindu Goddesses, located in the town of Gorkha, the temple is believed to fulfill the wish of every pious soul who visits the temple and offers homage to the goddess. The pagoda style temple is located on a hilltop at 1302m. You can easily reach temple on a cable car ride crossing the Trisuli River. The hilltop provides lovely views of Trisuli and Marshyangdi river valleys as well as that of Annapurna and Himalchuli Himalayan ranges.
Muktinath Temple
Located in the Himalayan district of Mustang, Muktinath or Chumig Gyatso is a sacred site for both Buddhists and Hindus. For a devout Hindu soul, attainment of salvation is a supreme goal. Even Buddhists worship Muktinath as their holy shrine where Guru Rimpoche (founder of Tibetan Buddhism) received enlightenment. The major attractions here include 108 water sprouts, statue of Padmasambhava and an eternal flame. The temple lies at an altitude of 3800 meters above the sea level at the base of Thorong peak. The temple provides excellent views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs.
